A Very Loving, Sincere Boy

Obviously behind on posts as usual, I had to post this memory before I headed to bed.  Tonight, Ryan, Nolan, and I were rough housing and playing and Ryan hurt his shoulder some how. Nolan was very concerned and put his head on Ryan's shoulder.  Ryan winced in pain, but followed with a chuckle trying not to scare/worry Nolan.  Nolan started say "Elmo! Elmo!" and walked to the kitchen.  He wanted the fridge open to get his Elmo ice pack out.  He then walked in to the living room, pointed to the floor and told his daddy to sit down.  Ryan sat down, and Nolan placed the ice pack on Ryan's shoulder.  Absolutely amazing.  I got tears watching my 21 month old try to comfort and soothe his father.  One of the greatest things I have ever seen! Took my breath away that I get to raise this incredible little boy.  I wish I had time to take a picture.
